Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Ruler holding scepter (or tropaion), r. hand raised, standing in a car drawn by eight horses seen from front; the horses heads decorated with a crest. only two coins known, only one (this) in private hands
These coins were probably struck in struck in honour of the visit of Severus Alexander in Anazarbos in 231. This reverse is nowhere else numismatically documented - not only in Anazarbos! (Ziegler, JNG 48/49, S. 128)
