Opium scale 19. cent. Bipartite violin-shaped wooden box, with rotational joint at the neck, that connects the two sections. Measurements: 300 x 88 x 28 mm. The balance beam (fractured) is made of ivory and shows three different scales which are marked by dots. At the end of the beam, hook on ring (brass) with moveable tongue. Steelyard and bowl are made of brass. very fine
