The Colossus of Rhodos
- A special honor for Helios was the erection of a bronze statue over the entrance to the port of the city of Rhodes.
- The statue was one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" with a gigantic height of 27 meters
- The "Colossus of Rhodos" collapsed during an earthquake in 227/226 BC and was never erected again
