The versus shows an armoured warrior with helmet and lance, who leads a man out of a thatched hut, that is shaded by a tree. This image must represent a historic event also. In all probality it refers to the resettlement of parts of frankish tribes to Toxandria, a region between the Meuse and the Scheldt rivers. The Roman Emperor leads the humble and small Frank out his primitive hut into a better future.
