Der Revers dieses Denars ist ein Abbild des Gemäldes "Victoria quadrigam in sublime rapiens" des Malers Nicomachus von Theben, das L. Munatius Plancus, ein Bruder des Münzmeisters, dem Capitol stiftete.
Damit stellt dieser Münztyp eines der wenigen numismatischen Zeugnisse antiker Malerei dar und ist somit nicht nur numismatisch, sondern auch kunsthistorisch von herausragender Bedeutung.
