Priapus is originally a local fertility-god of Lampsacus. His cult eventually spreaded in the whole greek and roman territory. He is the son of Aphrodite and Dionysos and wasn't allowed to enter Mount Olympus due to his deformity, so his mother suspended him near Lampsacus
