During her marriage with Marcus Aurelius for 30 years, Faustina Junior gave birth to thirteen children, but only six of them survived infancy. The most famous offsprings were the later emperor Commodus and his older sister Lucilla, who was married to Lucius Verus, co-emperor of her father.
